Hey Steve…
You mentioned that you were looking for people to describe their experiences. To be perfectly frank I think I am something of a “persona non grata” among UFO researchers because I think they find this story just too weird. Plus, it has elements that do not completely conform to so many other stories – some elements do conform, but, there’s also some stuff that’s uncommon. All of this bothers me because I have considerable evidence, in comparison to many people, to support my “story” (the word “story” has a connotation which make me uncomfortable). All of these things happened. On this page I’ve assembled a small portion of supporing materials.
About myself: I was a professional musician from age 13 to about 37 and lived and worked in Las Vegas, Nashville, Washington DC, etc. To keep this short I met a lot of famous people (Muhammed Ali and his entire family, many famous musicians, etc.), turned down a job with country music star Mickey Gilley when he was at the height of his career, etc. My point is simply this: I don’t need a wacky UFO story, nor, do I have any desire to be famous. This is not about me, this is about humankind and it’s future. In mid life I switched gears and went to the University of Michigan and got a bachelor of science in psychology, won an undergraduate research award for a paper I wrote called “Manifestions of Pyshcopathology in Adult Female Survivors of Father/Daugher Incest”. Some things happened and I did not go to grad school. The point of this is that I was not into the paranormal, UFOs, etc. – for me these sort of things were not a hobby nor a particular area of interest. This kind of stuff was the furthest thing from my mind….minus occassionally reading a UFO story in one of my grandmother’s National Enquirer. I’ve still never seen two minutes of Star Trek. I don’t fit in, anywhere, Steve.
My first UFO sighting?
When I was 14 myself and a buddy went to a “sock hop” in a small town called Fenton, Michigan. Our ride home didn’t show so we had to walk a lonely, country rode for about seven miles to get back to his farm house. As we were walking I suddenly thought to look up, and, behind us – at which point I saw a small, white light that appeared to be traveling at 1,000 MPH screeching across the sky. It frightened my and I looked back down at the road, trying to convince myself it was a meteort (although it had no tail and no downward trajectory). Since I thought, “This must be a meteor” I looked back to make sure it was gone – it wasn’t. There were two of these lights, now…. I tried to illistrate what I saw with the below video. These things went from horizon to horizon and scared the hell outta me….and I worked overtime to concince myself I’d seen a “meteor shower” – and, subsequntly, to put it out of my mind.
Up close with an enormous triangle
On March 18th, 1994 during a big UFO flap here in Michigan (which I thought was confined to the west side of the state, near Lake Michigan – I’d seen it on the national news) I was driving to work at 5 AM just south of Flint, Michigan when, from the elevation of an overpass, I saw two brilliant white “headlight” just above the horizon and apparently a mile or so south of Flint’s airport (I was right next to the airport, on the freeway, at that point). I came around a curve in a few miles and there was an absolute mammoth, triangular UFO sitting just to the right of the south bound lanes. This thing had been there for a few minutes – and not one car was stopped nor even hitting their brakes – just me. I couldn’t stop. I kept hearing (well, feeling), “You’re not supposed to be here” – which was fine with me. I’m 72 and have not been that frightened before nor since. I could have almost hit this thing with a rock – it was enormous and possibly 100-foot above my head. To cut this short, through MUFON and directly from two female co-workers I learned that two sets of women – two cars, each with two women – car-pooling to different factories (about 6 hours apart) had found themselves suddenly driving the wrong direction on the freeway and lost an hour. One of those women was my best friend at work – a black lady, very religious…not a “UFO person”. She was a mess and I counseled her that week because she knew I was one of the few who had seen this thing. She recalled her van spinning, going up into the air (I know this sounds insane), and waking up on a table. You can imagine the rest. Her passenger was a woman I did not know well. But she informed me, flatly, the her and Carolyn had “been abducted by aliens” and, while she had been having trouble getting pregnant, she was certain that these “guys” had made her pregnant. Frankly, I thought she was nuts – maybe I just wanted to think she was nuts. Long story short: I quit that job two weeks later, did not know this second woman’s last name, and presumed I would never know what really happened. Twenty-three years later my wife – who is not into this at all – did a search on the web (unbeknownst to me) for “car pool aline abuction Flint”. She called me to her computer. On the MUFON web site was a submission from my co-worker…the one who’s last name I didn’t know and who had told me that these ‘guys” had made her pregnant. The whole thing was much like my friends description, but, when I heard the final statement I just about fainted. This is an audio transcript:
The really crazy part….where I lose everybody
Since 1994 I have accumlated stories from at least four other people who had the identical experience (of, at least, seeing this craft) at the identical spot but in 1995, 1997, 2008,and 2019. I mean, is this some kind of portal? I have no idea. I have the audio testimony of one of those people. Yeah, it’s a really weird story.
I thought I was collateral damage, only – maybe not
Eighteen years passed and I tried not to talk about this whole thing, tried to bury it as much as possible. Then, in 2012, twice in one week this happened – the first night I was home alone and awake (by chance) and I have the feeling time kinda stopped – long story. The second night (just two or three nights later) my then wife was home, and awake, and I was sleeping. In the morning she was toally flipped out by this event and particularly freaked out that I could not be shaken awake during this deal – she said I appeared totally unresponsive. And, after this event my life changed completely. And things have been absolutely insane since this happened. This is what happened, as best as I can illustrate:
After the above, too much to explain
- Got out of a horrible marriage and found the love of my life….in a very weird way (almost immediately)
- Immediately started seeing repeating digits on clocks – like every other time I would look at a clock
- All kinds of continuing electronic weirdness – my cardiologist’s office told me, about a year ago, that I “scared” them because (twice in one week) their electronic equipment just suddenly turned off in my presence. I’m actually nervous about surgical procedures for fear the equipment may turn off.
- Our neighbors who are both doctors, where I live now (in the country), came rushing over to see if my wife and I were “alright” one evening – they said our two story house appeared to explode in a ball of blue and white light….they almost called the fire department. My wife and I were sitting next to a sliding glass door and saw nothing. The same neighbors filmed multiple orbs and something that looks like a chevron behind our houses (see video, bottom of this page).
- I saw a stranger at wedding reception, saw this weird grid pattern in my head, and ran up to the guy and said, “You’ve had a really weird, close up UFO sighting, haven’t you?” He said, “As a matter of fact, yes I have….” and proceeded to tell me a story very much like my own. Now the guy will not speak to me.
- Weird animal stuff – owls and deer and so much crazy stuff that I would have to write a book….
- Weird dreams that these things have landed and people are freaking and it’s my job to calm people down – I am kind of herding people around, trying to maintain order, etc.
- My life has simply been the Twilight Zone since the blue light deal.

Almost Forgot
In 2017 my wife and I were driving past the library in Flint, Michigan, and I suddenly thought I’d like to go inside and look at the microfilm of The Flint Journal for dates around the time of my March 18th, 1994 experience with the triangle. So I started with March 18th, now knowing if I would find anything – I didn’t have to read far….this was the headline:
The above does not refer to my sighting, but, is a quote from a National Weather Service Radar operater concerning some blobs he watched on radar on March 8th. But, more relevant, was this article from March 10th – a young kid seeing a massive triangle floating above his neighborhood in Flint….occurred on the 10th, published on the 15th.
